About Us

Lilies Home Care is a privately, family owned domiciliary care company, based in West Yorkshire. Established in 2017, born out of personal experience and commitment to providing high quality care, particularly around dementia and end of life care.

Our personalised home care service gives you the choice to remain independent in your own home, without compromising on the quality of your care. We are based in Bradford and our geographical area covers Bradford, Keighley, Shipley and the surrounding districts.

Lilies Home care is named after my late mother. We are a family run business with myself, Diane Gledhill as the Office Manager and owner and my daughter, Charlotte Gledhill as the registered manager of Lilies Home Care.

Lilies Home Care values, behaviours, decisions and processes are open to scrutiny as we develop safe and effective evidence-based practice. Good governance means that Lilies Home Care recognise our accountability, act on lessons learned and are honest and open in seeking the best possible outcomes and results for people.

Service Costs

Charges are calculated based on the care provided and the number of hours worked. They are subject to review from time to time and clients are notified in writing of any variations.

Care Planning and Risk Assessment

A risk assessment will be undertaken by a trained and qualified person before a team member can commence their work. This will identify any potential risks associated with the provision of care, including any risks associated with medication and other health related activities. The risk assessment will be reviewed every 3 months or sooner if required.

The risk assessment will include an assessment of the risks for the Client to maintain their independence and promote safety whilst living in their own home. The views of our Client and where applicable their family/representatives will be taken into account.

A plan to manage risks will be drawn up in consultation with the Client and a copy will be available to view with their Care Plan for both the Client, family members and the team member to refer to, as well as through the Birdie call monitoring system
